Thanet ADDers

A Bit About Us

Thanet ADDers was the land base of adders.org (this website). This support group was started on 20th January 1997 by Caroline and Simon Hensby. Our son Richard was diagnosed with ADD in 1996 and we ran this group as a non profit making organisation, purely for the benefit of ADD sufferers (children and adults) and their families, who lived or worked in the Thanet area or nearby in Kent, United Kingdom.

Caroline continued to run the group after our marriage failed in 2004 but following her sad death on 6th February 2010, the group is no more. The website adders.org still continues, however, as a tribute to Caroline.
