Thanet ADDers is the land base of adders.org (this website). This support group was started on 20th January 1997 by us, i.e. Caroline and Simon Hensby of the above address, (however Simon is no longer involved as he left the family home in October 2004 to start a new life). We are parents of Richard who was diagnosed with ADD in 1996 and are running this group as a non profit making organisation, purely for the benefit of ADD sufferers (children and adults) and their families, who live or work in the Thanet area or nearby in Kent, United Kingdom. Our Group
Membership is free and open to sufferers and their families who live in Thanet or nearby in Kent, England. Our Newsletter is sent by mail to all members and interested parties. It's called 'Thadders News' . Click on the text or button here to take you to the Online version.
Whilst membership is free, we would welcome any donations or offers of help as obviously we have many overheads in running such a group, such as telephone, photocopying, postage etc. Any cheques should be made payable to Thanet ADDers.
