The Self-Help Guide for Special Kids and Their Parents
by Joan Matthews & James Williams
Written by a mother and son who has been diagnosed with autism, this book is very positive in its approach. It points out that those who have been diagnosed as having hidden conditions are actual Special People.
This book gives practical solutions to some of the most difficult social skills problems faced by these Special People.
As it is written from personal experiences it makes everything seem possible and every difficult situation able to be tackled. It also offers advice as to how to overcome and succeed.
The humour used makes this an ideal book to use as a constant source of help and advice as it also makes these Special People and those who live with them realise that they are Special and can achieve a full and successful life.
