Ritalin Free Kids
by Judyth Richenberg-Ullman and Robert Ullman
This book's title made me feel a bit uncomfortable to start with due to a lot of the adverse publicity there is about Ritalin. Although I do not say that Ritalin is the only answer, I do believe that it can be helpful.
However my interest was sparked, as there was a foreword by Ned Hallowell who I trust in the field of ADD/ADHD so when more than I should read more.
Upon doing this I found a well-balanced book which accepts ADD/ADHD as a medical condition and also accepts medication as a treatment option.
I have always been interested in the homeopathic treatment process for ADD/ADHD and I do believe that this can be really viable option for a number of people.
Through this book I have learned more about the homeopathic options the authors provide clear evidence and much knowledge which will help people to understand and consider homeopathy as an option frock ADD/ADHD.
Using research and experience the authors write a well-balanced and extremely informative view of this treatment option.
They also make it very clear that homeopathy needs to be undertaken under the advice and monitoring of a qualified homeopath - it is not something which should be used as an off the counter option - it does have a true use if the person is seen by a qualified homeopath.
This book is real insight in a sensitive way so as to allow those who use traditional medication feel OK rather than wrong and allows us to explore this very interesting alternative treatment option.
Excellent!!
