ADD/ADHD Resource Reviews
adders.org Software Review
A great programme to help all ages and abilities to learn IT skills, numeracy, literacy, design and problem solving.
Although based for key stages 1 and 2 and SEN the activities, which cover 4 subjects, are suitable for all age groups. The makers to say up to 16-see that this could be used by adults with learning difficulties as well.
The package comes with CD-ROM, full instruction booklet and 8 worksheet books each containing 40 worksheets for the numeracy and literacy packs.
Other worksheet booklets are available for the design and problem solving packs.
Easy to use, entertaining and fun for all children. This package can be used at home all school to help children with basic skills and ICT.
The activities include things such as changing faces which help children to learn to read expressions which is ideal for those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders who find this hard so can be used to enhance social skills also.
In all a great package across the whole spectrum to link home and school with fun. This means it is so helpful for parents looking for educational software which will fit in with school to help their child with consistency across the whole.
Licences are needed for single and multiusers.
