adders.org Book Review
Teaching the Dyslexic Child
by Anita N Griffiths EdD
This book firstly challenges the reader by asking if they believe in dyslexia - it goes on to explain what it is and why it is a real.
By using and explaining her personal methods for teaching children with dyslexia the author gives some wonderful ideas as to how to make learning easier, more fun and most of all achievable for the dyslexia child.
Using examples she allows us to really feel what the learning environment is like and by doing this encourages us to look at ways to alter and enhance the whole learning experience so that it becomes a positive experience for the child rather than a negative one.
There are many practical strategies, which are explained and easy to follow which can be used to help children to reach their full potential. Ideal and useful for all who want to help the dyslexia tiled overcome problems and succeed.
