Troublesome Behaviour in the Classroom: Meeting Individual Needs
by Mick McManus

Using easy to read and understand plain simple language this author combines practical advice and real life case studies with humour to look at various causes and solutions to some of the problem behaviours which appear in the classroom settings.

Covering various topics from exclussion, management skills, pupils perspectives to motivational stratagies to controlling stress. Each topic covered is discussed then the author offers ideas, activities and advice to help overcome the issues giving encouragement through practical ways and idea activities to overcome the topic being addressed in each section.

The author acknowledges the need for children with behaviour problems to be considered as having special needs. This encourages the authorities to look into providing help to work with these children to partake fully in the class environment and ultimatly help staff to provide the smooth running of the class as a whole.
