The LD Child and the ADHD Child - Ways Parents and Professionals Can Help
by Suzanne H Stevens

A positive book which tries to break down some of the negative thoughts people have about LD and ADHD by cutting through jargon and attempting to focus on the positives.

The author explains basic information on both LD and ADHD in ways parents can accept but also in a way that professionals can see how intimidating it can be for parents when things are spoken about in the jargon with is commonly used but not necessarily explained to parents.

Full of suggestions of ways to help the child and also suggestions about how parents can talk to professionals to obtain service3s and help which the child is entitled to, without the parent feeling intimidated but more able to talk on a par with those who are there to help.

Positive and optimistic book which will be of great encouragement to parents and for professionals. This book allows us to see how we can all work together as partners to help the child reach their full potential.
