Declaration - award-winning play about ADHD & mental health now available to stream online

Jo from Art with Heart wrote to us as follows: I'm getting in touch from Art with Heart, an arts company delivering performance, participation and education projects from Salford. At least once a month somebody gets in touch to ask if we have a recording of Declaration, our award-winning autobiographical play exploring ADHD, mental health and diagnosis. The requests come from those recently diagnosed, audiences hoping to watch again, professionals wanting to support people with ADHD, as well as people seeking to better understand their loved one's. You asked and we've delivered!

Declaration offers a rare insight into how ADHD can impact at different points throughout someone's life, and seeks to breakdown damaging stereotypes and stigmas and celebrate the many positive aspects of ADHD.

Dr Tirthankar Mukherjee, Consultant Psychiatrist and Lead Consultant for Adult ADHD services at Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust said: "It was a most colourful and authentic celebration and depiction of the agonies and ecstasies of an individual with ADHD through a powerful style of storytelling that can make one laugh and cry at the same time and had left me with reflections, both human, political and scientific."

Ben Foreman, Adult with ADHD said: 'Declaration was bloody amazing! There's a lot I struggle with, and seeing the show made me realise I'm not alone. It was like everything I've never been able to express had magically been pulled out for the world to see! Declaration needs to be shared with everyone!'
