Dave Lee MBE dies aged 64

Dave Lee MBE, popular comedian and extraordinary fund raiser for disabled and sick children, sadly died on Monday 16th January 2012 aged 64. Dave had been suffering from pancreatic cancer.

ADDers.org knew Dave Lee as he supported our local charity Thanet ADDers on several occasions via his charity Dave Lee's Happy Holidays. Thanks to his charity's generosity we were able to make two wonderful trips for our local members to Chessington World of Adventure and several of our members received grants towards family holidays plus visits to his yearly Pantomimes in Canterbury. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed.
