We have just received the following Press Release to Launch the ADHD Awareness Week!!
"Over a third of ADHD children officially excluded from school
New findings mark start of first ever
National ADHD Awareness Week
London, Monday 18th September: In an ADDISS* survey of over 500 parents of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), 39% reported that their child had been ‘fixed term’ excluded from school as a result of their condition, with 11% excluded permanently."
Wow that is a bit of an amazing figure to come out of the Survey that was run by ADDISS a short time ago which results are also being published during the Awareness Week
