RAIN

They say I'm too old to dance in the rain!
Sometimes being an adult is such a pain.
When I was little I wanted my childhood to pass.
Now I'm too grown-up to roll around in the grass!
When I look back on my teenage years
I remember the changes and all my fears.
There were so many things to do and see.
I was away from my parents and finally free!
The life I lived was full of passion and fire
I felt like an eagle flying higher and higher
The memories of those days taste so sweet
The fun and excitement in the late summer heat!

Today there are responsibilities and things I must do.
I am a mother, a house wife and a student too!
Why does the fun have to stop?
I wanna make love on a mountain top!
Time goes on and days fly by.
But I can still see that spark in my eye.
It's time to ignite that fire again
I'm not too old God where have I been!
It is the summer of my life and its time to play!
I'm gonna dance in the rain, I don't care what they say!
