HUFFY MONSTER

I know a huffy monster, Darren is his name,
When he's angry and in a huff, it really is a shame,
He growls and growls and growls and growls and growls and growls some more,
Then he starts all over again, till his throat is sore!
When he goes all quiest, I know he's really in a huff,
Sometimes he shouts a lot, and says some nasty stuff.

Then the huffy monster changes,
When he has finished with his rages,
He becomes so sweet and lovely
When he tells me that he loves me
And says that he is sorry.
The huffy monster goes away,
But will return another day.

My huffy monster is great, in the huff or not,
But sometimes when he's in the huff, it can make me quite cross
We have our favourite times
And our worst ones too,
But huffy monster, don't forget,
I'll always love you.
