Please Note: This is a family site and therefore please keep this in mind when using any of the Forum Boards.

While anyone can view topics on all of the Forum Boards to be able to post or reply to topics you will need to register. You may register by clicking the Join / User Agreement Button on the following page. You will then be given the opportunity to read the User Agreement which you then have to click to accept before being able to proceed further. After this you will be asked to choose a login name and provide a valid email address, from there you will be asked to complete your profile.

Once you have registered you will be able to post topics and reply to topics on the main boards.

There are 14 Administrators / Moderators to help keep the boards running smoothly so if there are any problems please feel free to contact any one of these great people for help or information.

ADDERS ORG MARKETPLACE

To advertise items and become a seller on the adders.org Marketplace Forum Board you need to be a registered member of the adders.org forum boards, buyers however need not register but are still welcome to do so.

You also need to be over the age of 18 to register for the Marketplace

If you wish to place any adverts please read the instructions below.

All sales from The Marketplace will be conducted by the SELLER and BUYER DIRECT via the MESSENGER facility on the adders.org Forum Boards.

adders.org would advise that the MESSENGER facility is used - however you may once initial contact has been made it is between the seller and buyer to decide if they wish to communicate via MESSENGER or email.

Full Instructions On How To Use The ADDERS.ORG MARKETPLACE
Welcome to The Marketplace. The Marketplace is a new venue for members of adders.org to place advertisements for goods (new and used) or services they wish to sell and for any "Wanted" items.

To advertise on The Marketplace, members must pay a one-off Registration Fee of Ł5.00, this will register you as a user of The Marketplace for as long as you wish to remain one and will allow you to advertise as many times as you wish. Adders.org will also ask for a donation of 10% of any sale proceeds realised by the seller when a transaction has been completed.

To register as a user of The Marketplace you will need to send an email to marketplace@adders.org requesting registration information - you will then receive an email reply with the full user agreement for The Marketplace Forum Board - When you receive this you will need to reply saying that you agree to abide by the terms and conditions and agree to the donations stated therein.

Once you have replied to the registration email you will be registered as a user of The Marketplace.

To place an advert you should email the details of the advert/s you wish to place to marketplace@adders.org where a member of the Admin Team will place your ad on the board.

All ads will remain live for 4 weeks, should your item remain unsold at the end of that time, that ad will be deleted and a member of the Admin Team will contact you to see if you wish to re-submit the ad for a further 4 weeks (this is merely to prevent "clogging" on the Board). After your ad is placed on The Marketplace, any enquiries from prospective buyers will be sent to you direct via PM. From this point all negotiations regarding the sale details etc. will be purely between the seller and the prospective buyer. No correspondence between the seller and prospective buyers will be entered into by adders.org and will not be posted on The Marketplace Board. Once a sale is succesfully made, you should inform us at marketplace@adders.org in order that your ad can be removed from The Marketplace plus you should at that point make a donation of 10% of the sale proceeds to adders.org.

Full USER AGREEMENT for ADDERS.ORG MARKETPLACE

The MarketPlace advertising board is designed to offer the opportunity to all registered members of the adders.org website to advertise products they wish to sell and to acknowledge interest in products that are advertised by other members on this board.

Adders.org, by the existence of such advertising space, does not accept responsibility for ensuring that transactions agreed between buyers and sellers complete. By use of this board all buyers and sellers acknowledge and appreciate that any transaction shall be completed by buyer and seller as private parties with adders.org neither holding the purchase money nor the item being purchased at any time.

Furthermore, through their use of this space, both parties shall indemnify adders.org from any civil action arising out of breach of any contract of sale agreed between buyer and seller by either party.

All buyers and sellers should be aware of the legal nature and enforceability of a contract of sale including offer and acceptance of an offer before entering into negotiations or transactions with buyers or sellers upon the adders.org MarketPlace.

Adders.org, at no time during any transaction, possesses any item offered for sale herein upon the MarketPlace advertising board and all users of this space acknowledge and appreciate that adders.org offer no guarantee or affirmation as to the product, the safety and/or quality of the product or the character of the person purporting to wish to sell such an item.

All users should also note that adders.org does not offer any guarantee as to the character of any member purporting to be willing to purchase an item or such a member's ability to offer financial payment for the transfer of goods.

Adders.org makes no affirmation of the legality or legally enforceable nature of any contract of sale made between members acting as private parties and all members, through their use of this board, acknowledge such a fact and indemnify adders.org from any claim arising out of any dispute surrounding the legal enforceability of a claim between vendor and buyer.

All members should be aware of any personal responsibilities placed upon them by the terms of any contract of sale between private parties including, but not limited to, the responsibility upon the seller to transfer the item to the buyer for payment and the responsibility upon the buyer to transfer payment to the seller for the item. Should such responsibilities be repudiated any such member should be aware of the potential claims in civil law that may be brought for breach of contract.

The responsibility for ensuring the legal enforceability of contracts of sale in any jurisdictions or country which a member may live in remains the responsibility of the parties to any contract of sale.

Adders.org accepts no responsibility for such enforceability and makes no affirmations as to the enforceability of any contract of sale.

In line with United Kingdom law adders.org accepts that nothing in this agreement shall exclude our liability for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the site or its owner however all members accept and acknowledge, through their use of this space, that the contract for sale of any item exists between the two contracting members and not with the site itself.

All users acknowledge and agree, through use of this space, to indemnify adders.org, the owner of adders.org and all members of the administration team of adders.org from any potential claim arising from action against another member arising out of their use of this advertising space. Such claims against which members hereby, through their use of this space, agree to indemnify adders.org, the owner of adders.org and the administration team of adders.org against include, but are not limited to, claims for legal costs and any claims for damages that may arise.
